DIVINE INVOLVEMENT COMPARED
Memorise: And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit with is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone. Numbers 11:17

When God is involved in your matter, you can go to bed and sleep with your two eyes closed; the simple reason being that He can handle any situation better than you. When Moses attempted to deliver the Israelites by his own might, he ended up fleeing and leaving a mess behind, but when the Almighty God Himself got involved in the project of delivering His people, Egypt was never the same again. I prophesy to someone using this devotional that the Almighty God will get involved in your situation today in Jesus’ Name. At the end of God’s intervention in
, the Bible records this in
Exodus 12:30-31: Egypt
“And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in
for there was not a house where there was not one dead. And he called for Moses
and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people,
both ye and the children of Egypt ;
and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.” Israel
Now, let us compare the difference between the result of Moses’ attempt at deliverance and the result achieved after God got directly involved. The Bible says Moses went out one day to see the affliction of his brethren. Moved with compassion, he decided to take up the role of “self-made hero”. Before he knew it, he became a fugitive, because after he had killed a man, Pharaoh sought to take his own life also. So, Moses ran for dear life. But when God got involved, it was a different ball-game. After thousands of Egyptians were slain in one night, Pharaoh was the one begging Moses to leave his land in peace! Divine involvement made the difference. If you are one of those who believe in human connections in high places, I encourage you to invite God into that situation that is almost causing embarrassment to you and your family. Once God gets involved, the result will make you think you are day-dreaming. Psalm 126:1 says:
“When the LORD turned again the captivity of
we were like them that dream.” Zion
To enjoy divine involvement in your situation, you must be numbered among the people of the Lord of Hosts. You don’t have to fight the battle of life alone if you are one of His. Call on Him today. He will get involved, and you will glorify Him.
Cry to God and report all those afflicting you to Him. He will get involved of you belong to Him.
