DIVINE ENABLEMENT AND DILIGENCE Sunday June 28th 2020
Memorise: So, then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Romans 9:16
Read: Psalm 127:1-5 (KJV)

It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. You May Also like: Rccg Open Heaven Daily Devotional by Pastor Adeboye —BEWARE OF STRANGE FIRE

However, we must not be lazy under the guise that it is God who will work through us. While it is true that He works in us, we must be diligent and obsessed with soul winning no matter what it may cost. The Holy Spirit crowned Paul’s efforts with success by granting him divine enablement but we must also note that he was very diligent and obsessed with soul winning. Diligent encapsulates executing your assignments with care, consistence, and vigour and at the right time. Obsession is an excessive devotion to someone or something, to the point of personal loss, injury, or death. Obsession made Paul go as far as he did, teaching his children-in-the-Lord to do likewise.
