Let’s Pray in Jesus’ name!

Father,  I come before you today with a longing in my heart. I yearn to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire, to experience the power that raised You from the dead, in Jesus’ name.

Father, in any way I have fallen short of  Your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me; let Your mercy prevail over judgment of sin in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Father, wash away any impurities within me, Lord. Renew my spirit and fill me with Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Father, grant me the strength, courage, and discernment to use this power for Your glory. May I be a vessel for Your love and serve You with all my heart, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, if it be Your will, Lord, grant me the gift of speaking in tongues, a deeper way to connect with You in prayer and worship, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, I surrender myself completely to You, Lord. Mold me and use me as You see fit, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, just as You empowered the disciples on the Day of Pentecost, I ask that You empower me to be a bold witness for Your love and teachings, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, I know that the fullness of the Holy Spirit may come in different ways and at different times. Grant me patience and trust as I wait on You, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, above all, Lord, I desire a closer relationship with You. Draw me near, and help me to grow in Your love and knowledge, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, I pray all this in Jesus' name, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, refine my faith in the fire of Your presence, Lord. Burn away any impurities or self-reliance that may hinder Your work in me, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, grant me the strength and courage to face challenges and trials that may come with the baptism by fire. May they refine me, not break me, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, fill me with Your wisdom and discernment to use the power of the Holy Spirit and the baptism by fire effectively. Guide me to use them for Your glory, not personal gain, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, let the fire of Your Spirit burn brightly within me, consuming all selfishness and fueling my desire to serve You and others, in the matchless name of Jesus

Father, I surrender myself as a living sacrifice, ready to be used by You however You see fit. Mold me into a vessel of Your love and power, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, baptize me with Your fire, Lord, and transform me more and more into the image of Jesus Christ. May Your love and character be evident in all I do, in Jesus’ name

Father, I know the timing of the baptism by fire is in Your hands. Grant me patience and trust as I wait on You, continuing to seek Your presence, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, please uplift my nation (mention your country) and let Your peace reign in our lands, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, please continue to give Your son, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, and his household the grace to stand for You and continue to share edifying messages with Your children around the world, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, bless everyone dedicating their time to pray through these prayers at the point of their needs. Give them the grace to share/rebroadcast, in Jesus’ name.
