Let’s pray in Jesus’ name!

Father, help me to understand that discipline is a sign of Your love and care for me in Jesus name 

Father, grant me patience and endurance to endure the temporary discomfort of discipline in Jesus name 

Father, help me to keep my eyes on the long-term benefits that discipline brings in Jesus name

Father, give me a teachable spirit, open to learning and growing through Your correction in Jesus name 

Father, in any way I have fallen short of  Your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me; let Your mercy prevail over judgment of sin in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Father, help me to resist the temptation to resent or rebel against discipline in Jesus’ name.

Father, strengthen my trust in Your perfect plan for my life, knowing that discipline is part of Your process in Jesus’ name.

Father, grant me the willingness to cooperate with Your molding and shaping of my character in Jesus’ name 

Father, help me to be grateful for the opportunity to grow and mature through discipline in Jesus’ name 

Father, grant me wisdom to recognize areas in my life that need correction and the discipline to address them in Jesus’ name 

Father, give me the strength to persevere through challenging times, knowing that discipline leads to greater reward in Jesus’ name  

Father, grant me the ability to see beyond immediate gratification and focus on the long-term benefits of discipline in Jesus’ name 

Father, help me to cultivate patience and perseverance as I endure the challenges of discipline in Jesus’ name 

Father, give me strength to resist immediate pleasures in favor of lasting rewards in Jesus name

Father, Increase my faith in Your promise of abundant blessings as a result of my discipline in Jesus name

Father, grant me wisdom to make choices that prioritize future rewards over temporary satisfaction in Jesus name 

Father, help me to practice delayed gratification as a pathway to greater fulfillment in Jesus name

Father, empower me to endure hardship with courage, knowing that it is shaping me for a greater purpose in Jesus name

Father, help me to view discipline as a gift that molds me into Your likeness, in Jesus' name

Father, guide me in finding balance between discipline and rest, avoiding extremes in Jesus' name.

Father, Ignite in me a desire for excellence, fueled by the knowledge that discipline is the pathway to achieving it in Jesus' name.

Father, help me to prioritize long-term rewards over short-term pleasures in Jesus' name 

Father, deliver me from the fear of the potential consequences of neglecting discipline in Jesus' name

Father, please uplift my nation (mention your country) and let Your peace reign in our lands, in the mighty name of Jesus

Father, please continue to give Your son, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, and his household the grace to stand for You and continue to share edifying messages with Your children around the world, in the mighty name of Jesus
