MEMORISE: He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arms, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11

READ: John 10:1-14 (KJV)

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
Open Heaven For Today 2025 – Open Heavens 18 February

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23:1

Before David confronted Goliath in 1 Samuel 17, he was a shepherd boy in charge of his father’s sheep. One day, a bear came to attack the sheep, and he killed the bear. On another day, a lion came and took a lamb out of the flock; he went after it, delivered the lamb, and killed the lion. David didn’t allow predators to take any of the sheep; he protected them fiercely, even when it meant endangering his life. If David, a mere man, could be so protective of his sheep, how much more the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ? As long as the Lord is your Shepherd, you are assured of supernatural provision, protection, restoration, healing, abundance, and many more divine blessings.

Beloved, the Lord is your shepherd; you are His responsibility. This is why He said in Matthew 6:25-33 that you shouldn’t be worried about what you will eat or wear; just seek Him first, and all the things that people chase after will be added to you naturally.

You must, however, note that only sheep can have the Lord as their shepherd. Matthew 25:32 says that God will separate His sheep from the goats. In that particular Scripture, Jesus used ‘His’ when referring to sheep, but when referring to goats, He used ‘the’. Goats are not for God; only the sheep are His. The question is, are you a sheep?

In John 10:27, Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice. When was the last time you spent time with God to hear His voice? Do you even know His voice? Psalm 100:3 says that the sheep do not belong to themselves; they are like clay in the hands of potter. According to Matthew 25:33-40, the sheep have love in their hearts; they feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and visit the lonely. Also, the sheep enjoy the shephard's protection when predators attack. Are you a sheep in God's fold?

The height of a shepherd’s love for his sheep is when he gives his life up for their sake, and Jesus did this when He died on the cross (John 10:11, John 15:13). Beloved, have you accepted the everlasting provision of the Good Shepherd for your salvation? If you haven’t, you need to do so right now. When the Lord is your Shepherd, you have everything you need. Being a sheep in God’s flock is the best thing that can ever happen to you.

Prayer Point

Shepherd of my soul, I give you full control today and always.

HYMN 13: Jesus Loves Me! This I Know

1 Jesus loves me, this I know,

For the Bible tells me so.

Little ones to Him belong;

They are weak, but He is strong.

Refrain:

Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!

Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

2 Jesus loves me He who died,

Heaven’s gate to open wide,

He will wash away my sin,

Let His little child come in.

3 Jesus loves me, loves me still,

Tho’ I’m very weak and ill

From His shining throne on high

He will watch me where I lie.

4 Jesus loves me He will stay

Close beside me all the way,

If I love Him when I die

He will take me home on high.

MEMORISE: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

READ: Genesis 22:1-14 (KJV)

1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.

5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 22-24

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

The name Jehovah Jire was coined by Abraham after his experience with God on Mount Moriah. He had gone there to sacrifice Isaac, but God had already provided a lamb for the sacrifice instead of Isaac. He called the name of the place Jehovah Jireh because he was basically saying,

“God meets needs before they even arise.”

In that passage, Abraham had no idea where the ram came from. In the same vein, you also do not need to know how God will provide for your needs. All you need do is trust Him and know that He will provide.

God can send help to you from anywhere, even from places you are not aware of. When I became General Overseer, I visited my village, and a local businessman said to me.

“You are a General Overseer now, and there is no house here in the village for your guests to stay in. I will supply you with blocks to build a house, and you can pay me whenever you have the money.”

 I thought to myself, “Oh, what a miracle from God.”

I then built a very small house. However, the day the house was roofed, the businessmen sent a messenger to demand immediate payment for the blocks.

I didn’t have any money, so I cried to God.

“Father, I was not ready to build a house. It was this man who brought the idea to me, and now, I am in trouble. Please help me.”

I prayed all night and then fell asleep. In the morning, I had a visitor who said that God told her to travel all the way down from the North to the Redemption Camp to give me an envelope. When she saw me, she asked, “I am looking for the head of this church.” I replied, “That is God.” Then, she said, “I know, but I am looking for His representative.” I said, “That is me.” She then said, “God told me yesterday to bring you this envelope.” I had never met her, and ! haven’t seen her again since then. I opened the envelope, and it was the exact amount that I owed the businessman.

Our God is truly Jehovah Jireh – the Great Provider. You may not know where, when, or how your needs will be met, but rest assured that He will always provide.

Prayer Point

Father, please send help to me today, in Jesus’ name.

HYMN 27: What A Friend We have In Jesus

1 What a friend we have in Jesus,

all our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit,

O what needless pain we bear,

all because we do not carry

everything to God in prayer!

2 Have we trials and temptations?

Is there trouble anywhere?

We should never be discouraged;

take it to the Lord in prayer!

Can we find a friend so faithful

who will all our sorrows share?

Jesus knows our every weakness;

take it to the Lord in prayer!

3 Are we weak and heavy laden,

cumbered with a load of care?

Precious Savior, still our refuge–

take it to the Lord in prayer!

Do your friends despise, forsake you?

Take it to the Lord in prayer!

In his arms he’ll take and shield you;

you will find a solace there.

MEMORISE: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

READ: Psalm 60:11-12 (KJV)

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 19-21

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

In 1 Samuel 7:12, when Samuel said ‘Ebenezer’, which means ‘thus far hath the Lord helped us’, he knew what he was talking about. He knew that God had helped Israel in Exodus 12:1-51 when He humbled Pharaoh, their oppressor, and set His children free. In the name above every other name, every force that has been holding you down will let you go. If they don’t want to let you go gently, they will release you by force, in Jesus’ name.

Samuel knew that God had helped Israel to cross the Red Sea in Exodus 14. He knew that the Lord spoke through Moses and told him that they would never see the enemies they had seen that night again. He knew that God had helped them in Exodus 15:22-26 when they got to Marah, and they couldn’t drink the water because it was bitter. The Lord had prepared help ahead of time and He turned the bitter water to sweet. Whatever has been causing you to weep will end now, in Jesus’ name.

Samuel also knew that God had helped Israel in Exodus 17:1-6 when they were thirsty; the Almighty God brought water out of the rock. He brought something good out of nothing. Things may be hard right now for many people, but I have good news for you; this year, you will experience God’s help more than ever before, in Jesus’ name.

Ebenezer signifies hope. I don’t know how far the journey is, but everything is going to be alright. As long as you are connected to the God who has brought you thus far, He will keep helping you. Ecclesiastes 9:4 says that as long as you are still breathing, there is hope for you. God has not brought you this far to abandon you. He is too faithful to leave you now.

Are you discouraged, sad, or anxious for a breakthrough? Lay your fears, anxieties, and sorrows down, and put on the garment of hope because Ebenezer is here; He has come to help you. Hebrews 13:5-6 says:

…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Anyone who trusts in Ebenezer will laugh at last because His help never fails. Begin to laugh and rejoice because your help has come.

Prayer Point

Ebenezer, I trust in You; please arise and help me today.

HYMN 5: Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine!

1  Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine;

Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!

Heir of salvation, purchase of God,

Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Chorus:

This is my story, this is my song,

Praising my Savior all the day long.

This is my story, this is my song,

Praising my Savior all the day long.

2 Perfect submission, perfect delight,

Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;

Angels descending, bring from above

Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

3 Perfect submission, all is at rest,

I in my Savior am happy and blest;

Watching and waiting, looking above,

Filled with His goodness, lost in His love

TOPIC: The Joy Of Hope

MEMORISE: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

READ: Psalm 130:5-7(KJV)

5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

7 Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 14-15

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

My Helper is alive, and He does not change (Hebrews 13:8). He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the One who was, is, and is to come (Revelation 1:8).

He has helped me thus far, and He will help me until the end This is my hope and confidence.

It is dangerous to be hopeless; never lose hope. In 1 Kings 19:1-8, when things were not going the way Elijah expected them to go, he asked God to kill him.

However, in 1 Kings 21:1-24, you will see in verse 20 that Ahab, whom he had been running from, said to him,

“Have you found me, my enemy.”

The one who was pursuing Elijah was now the one running away from him.

In the name of the Lord of hosts, all those who have been pursuing you will run when they see you.

Don’t let anybody tell you that your case is hopeless; they are not your God, and they are not the ones who brought you this far.

If they say it is too late for you, tell them that they don’t control time. God is the One who controls times and seasons, and He didn’t bring you this far to abandon you.

God’s word is a treasure chest of hope. Whenever a situation seems hopeless, declare His word.

He has said that though your beginning was small, your latter end will greatly increase (Job 8:7).

His word also says that nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37). Since God is involved in your life, every impossibility becomes possible, in Jesus’ name.

He has promised to bless and increase you and your children greatly (Psalm 115:14). He also said that as long as you follow Him uprightly, your end will be peace (Psalm 37:37).

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13

God is the God of hope. When He gives a man hope, He accompanies that hope with joy and peace.

In His presence, there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Beloved, anything that makes you feel hopeless is not of God; it wants to suck out your joy and make you lose your peace—don’t allow it.

Stay in the word of God and put on your garment of praise. I pray that today you will receive good news that will make you full of hope and joy, in Jesus’ name.

Action Point

Spend some time reading about God’s promises concerning the situations or things you feel hopeless about.

HYMN 21: My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less

1. My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,

But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

Refrain:

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;

All other ground is sinking sand,

All other ground is sinking sand.

2. When darkness seems to veils His face,

I rest on His unchanging grace;

In every high and stormy gale,

My anchor holds within the veil. [Refrain]

3. His oath, His covenant, and blood,

Support me in the whelming flood;

When all around my soul gives way,

He then is all my hope and stay. [Refrain]

4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,

Oh, may I then in Him be found;

Dressed in His righteousness alone,

Faultless to stand before the throne. [Refrain]

MEMORISE: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36

READ: Psalm 146:5-10 (KJV)

5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:

8 The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:

9 The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10 The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 5-6

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE

Ordinarily, a fish in a well might seem to be doing well as it swims in circles. However, it can’t get out because it is surrounded by a wall. Being in prison is just like being a fish in a well. Prisoners are fed, but usually not with the kinds of food they would love to eat. Also, when they are sick, they are treated. I know this because I go to prisons to preach. Prisoners are taken care of and appear to live a seemingly normal life, but their freedom is limited within the walls of the prison.

If you are in a group or association that you cannot dare to come out of, you are in prison. It may seem like being a part of that cult is giving you some privileges. However, when you look closer, you will see that you have given more than you have gotten from the group. Most times, they will ask you to give things or make sacrifices that would hurt you greatly, including sacrificing your loved ones. Worse still, no matter how terrible what you might be asked to give is, you cannot leave. You may have seen examples of people who tried to leave but died, became mad, or encountered something worse. Often, such associations hold firmly to their members and violently go after those who leave; this is why you need the Great I AM on your side.

Beloved, the only way to get out of a prison is when a superior force comes to rescue you. If you are in bondage spiritually, you need Jesus to get you out. Just as the Israelites needed God’s mighty hand to bring them out of Egypt, you also need to cry out to God to bring you out.

Beloved, if you are neck-deep in any evil association, God can save you when you cry out to Him and repent genuinely (Psalm 79:11).

He doesn’t ignore a sincere cry, neither does He despise a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). He wants to save you now so you can enjoy the true freedom that comes with being a part of His Kingdom. Genuine repentance means giving up everything you have received from the association and denouncing everything about them. You cannot hold onto the devil’s lies and receive God’s freedom.

Key Point

Christ is the only One who gives true freedom.

HYMN 14: O What A Wonderful, Wonderful Day

1 Oh What A Wonderful Wonderful Day

Day I Will Never Forget

After I’d Wandered In Darkness Away

Jesus My Savior I Met

Oh What A Tender Compassionate Friend

He Met The Need Of My Heart

Shadows Dispelling With Joy I Am Telling

He Made All The Darkness Depart

Chorus

Heaven Came Down

And Glory Filled My Soul

When At The Cross

The Savior Made Me Whole

My Sins Were Washed Away

And My Night Was Turned To Day

Heaven Came Down

And Glory Filled My Soul

2 Born Of The Spirit With Life From Above

Into God’s Fam’ly Divine

Justified Fully Thru Calvary’s Love

Oh What A Standing Is Mine

And The Transaction So Quickly Was Made

When As A Sinner I Came

Took Of The Offer Of Grace

He Did Proffer He Saved Me

Oh Praise His Dear Name

3 Now I’ve A Hope That Will Surely Endure

After The Passing Of Time

I Have A Future In Heaven For Sure

There In Those Mansions Sublime

And It’s Because Of That Wonderful Day

When At The Cross I Believed

Riches Eternal And Blessings Supernal

From His Precious Hand I Received
