MEMORISE: For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11:31
READ: 1 Corinthians 11:23-34(KJV)
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
When you partake of the Holy Communion, you are eating Jesus’ body and drinking His blood, as we read in today’s Bible reading.
You are not just touching his body and blood, you are ingesting Him, and you can boldly say to anyone,
“Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
When I was an interpreter for my Father in the Lord, I usually looked forward to Holy Communion services.
Then, we partook of the Holy Communion once every year, and I was always excited because I knew that my spiritual battery would be recharged.
Papa would be preaching, and I would be interpreting, thinking to myself,
“Papa, please hurry up so we can get to the Communion.”
By the time we finally got around to drinking the wine, I usually had to control myself from dropping the cup because I would be shaking from head to toe.
I cherish partaking of the Communion so much because I always experience a new infilling of the Holy Spirit every time I drink the wine.
The Holy Communion is not an ordinary meal; the moment God’s minister blesses the bread and the wine, using the words of Jesus Christ in 1 Corinthians 11:24-26, they become sacred.
The wine in the Communion represents the blood of Jesus, and this blood cleanses from all sin.
The blood also causes every evil to pass over us as it did with the Israelites on the night the destroyer killed all the firstborns in Egypt (Exodus 12:21-30).
This means that the blood of Jesus protects us and gives us victory oven the enemy (Revelation 12:11).
This is why those who drink it unworthily in sin fall sick and die (1 Corinthians 11:27-30).
Those who drink it worthily experience a resurrection power from within, producing healing, deliverance, intimacy with God, and more.
When you take the Holy Communion, you have come to dine at the table of the King of kings, and it is important that you do not have anything that will mark you as an enemy of the King as you approach His table.
Ensure that you examine yourself and get rid of anything that would expose you to the wrath of the King.
Get rid of sin, doubt, and everything that would not allow the power in Christ’s body and blood to manifest in your life.
Action Point
Let go of everything that will not allow the power of God in the Holy Communion to manifest in your life.
HYMN 9: What Can Wash Away Your Stain
1 What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain:
O precious is the flow
that makes me white as snow;
no other fount I know;
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
2 For my pardon this I see:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
For my cleansing this my plea:
nothing but the blood of Jesus. [Refrain]
3 Nothing can for sin atone:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Naught of good that I have done:
nothing but the blood of Jesus. [Refrain]
4 This is all my hope and peace:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all my righteousness:
nothing but the blood of Jesus. [Refrain]

MEMORISE: And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. Mark 9:24
READ: Ezekiel 37:1-14 (KJV)
1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Joshua 1-4
Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
In today’s Bible reading, Ezekiel found himself in a valley that was full of dry bones. When God asked him, “Can these bones live?” The prophet, considering the seemingly impossible situation before him, answered, “Lord, only You can tell.” In other words, he was saying, “This is beyond my faith.” God asked him to prophesy, and as he did, the dry bones came back to life.
Most ministers of God know that He can do all things. However, sometimes, the faith of even the greatest ministers can be terribly shaken.
Sometimes, God will ask me to do something, and despite my faith in Him, I will say, “Daddy, this is beyond my faith.” He will ask me to prophesy all the same, and I will just obey and leave the fulfilment to Him.
When you hear a minister of God prophesy, and it is beyond your faith, please don’t speak against the prophecy. Even if you don’t believe the prophecy, control your mouth not to speak against it because the consequences may be severe. In 2 Kings 7:19-20, a top government official said it was impossible for Elisha’s prophecy to be fulfilled; he saw the prophecy come to pass, but he died before he could partake of it.
In Mark 9:14-27, Jesus’ disciples were unable to deliver a demon-possessed boy, and his father had lost hope. When Jesus arrived at the scene, the boy’s father’s request for compassion was filled with doubt. I know this because Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Instead of sinking further in unbelief, the man cried out, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief,” and he received his miracle.
When situations are beyond your faith, cry out to God for help to believe. He can increase your faith to help you cooperate with Him to birth the impossible. Don’t hinder your miracle because of unbelief. God wants you to be willing to do whatever He demands, like the servants at the wedding in Cana (John 2:5-8).
Beloved, when God brings situations that are beyond your faith your way, He wants to glorify Himself. At such times, it is not about what your faith can do but what God can do with your obedience and whatever measure of faith you have.
Prayer Point
When a situation is beyond your faith, look to God and do whatever He commands.
HYMN 30: When We Walk With The Lord
1. When we walk with the Lord,
In the light of His word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain:
Trust and obey!
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
2. But we never can prove
The delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay,
For the favour He shows
And the joy He bestows
Are for them who will trust and obey. [Refrain]
3. Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way,
What He says we will do,
Where He sends we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey. [Refrain]

MEMORISE: Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2
READ: Isaiah 48:9-11 (KJV)
9 For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 33-34
Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
Yesterday, I discussed how every part of your life was created to give God pleasure. Today, I want to show you that you were also created to give God glory.
In John 9:1-7, the disciples asked Jesus about what was responsible for a blind man’s situation, and He replied that it was not a question of sin but that God’s glory might be revealed. The Lord spat on the ground, made some mud, put it on the blind man’s eyes, and asked him to go and wash. The blind man came back seeing.
Glory belongs to God; He is the Father of glory (Ephesians 1:17). God is very jealous of His glory (Isaiah 42:8), and everything you do must give Him glory. If you try to hinder God from getting glory, He will only use you to get even more glory, as He did with Pharaoh. Even today, God is getting glory from the destruction of Pharaoh and his army because he tried to hinder the Israelites from worshipping and giving God glory (Exodus 15:1-4). Those who try to take God’s glory will bring God’s judgment upon themselves if they don’t repent. When Nebuchadnezzar’s heart was lifted because of his accomplishments, God made him roam the forest for seven years like a wild beast (Daniel 4:28-33). After eating grass like an animal, his understanding returned to him, and he gave God the glory He deserved (Daniel 4:34). It took a terrible experience for Nebuchadnezzar to give all the glory to God – do not be like Him. Always give God the glory that is due to His name. Herod also learnt to give God the glory the hard way.
However, unlike Nebuchadnezzar who got a second chance, he was eaten up by worms until he died because he didn’t give God the glory (Acts 12:20-23).
It is a terrible and fearful thing to fall into the hands of our God, who doesn’t share His glory.
When God does something for you, don’t act like you did it all by yourself; acknowledge Him and give Him the glory. Some men of God have allowed the power God gave them to deceive them into thinking they are very important. Stop stealing God’s show because you are absolutely nothing without Him. When God does anything through you, He does it for His name’s sake. Don’t ever forget that you are what you are by the grace of God. God deserves all the glory, and He must have it all.
Prayer Point
Father, I repent of every time I might have taken credit for the things You have done in my life. I will give You the glory due unto Your name now and always, in Jesus’ name.
HYMN 18: Praise To The Lord The Almighty, The King Of Creation
1. Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation:
Join the great throng
psaltery, organ and song
sounding in glad adoration.
2. Praise to the Lord,
over all things he gloriously reigneth:
Borne as on eagle-wings, safely his saints, He sustaineth
Has thou not seen
How all thou needest hath been
Granted in what he ordaineth?
3. Praise to the Lord,
Who doth prosper thy way and defend thee;
Surely his goodness and mercy shall ever attend thee;
ponder anew, What the almighty can do
Who with his love doth befriend thee.
4. Praise to the Lord!
O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has breath join with Abraham’s Seed to adore him!
Let the Amen, sum all our praises again;
Now as we worship before him.

MEMORISE: Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Psalm 124:6
READ: Psalm 124:1-8 (KJV)
1 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
When I was a lecturer at the University of Ilorin, after my morning lectures, I would leave the campus, go home for lunch, and relax before returning for my evening lectures.
I was also serving as the pastor of the RCCG parish in Ilorin then, so our living room was constantly filled with people.
One afternoon, after eating, I lay on the couch in the living room to rest before returning for my evening lectures.
I closed my eyes so people walking around would think that I was sleeping and not disturb me.
While lying down, someone grabbed my hands and legs and bent as if to kiss me.
Initially, I thought it was my wife, but then I realized that whoever could hold my hands and legs at the same time must be much taller and stronger than her.
I opened my eyes immediately, and the being (I really couldn’t make out what it was) vanished.
I wondered what had just happened as I felt a cold sensation run down my spine. I shook it off and went for my lectures.
While I was on the campus, I started experiencing a terrible stomach ache, which led to severe stooling and vomiting.
On returning home, I had to practically crawl from my car to the bathroom.
Then I asked,
“Lord, why is this happening to me?”
and He responded,
“I just wanted you to get a glimpse of the battles I fight for you that you are not aware of.”
Immediately He said that, the stomach ache, stooling, and vomiting stopped.
You have no idea how much God protects you as you go about your daily activities.
You may think that you go and come safely because you are very careful or because you are a good driver, but believe me, your carefulness or driving skills cannot get you out of an accident that the devil has planned; only God can guarantee your safety.
If you think that you are surrounded by security personnel, what will happen if they face a terror group with more sophisticated weapons than them?
This is why Psalm 127:1 says that the watchman watches in vain if the Lord is not watching over the city.
Beloved, some people have plied the same routes you ply and gotten kidnapped or killed.
Also, the same kind of food you eat is what has caused the death of others.
You should constantly thank God for your safety; you will not be alive without Him (Lamentations 3:22).
Action Point
Today is my birthday; please thank God on my behalf because He truly has been faithful to me.
HYMN 19: Rock Of Ages, Cleft For Me
1 Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
let me hide myself in thee;
let the water and the blood,
from thy wounded side which flowed,
be of sin the double cure;
save from wrath and make me pure.
2 Not the labors of my hands
can fulfill thy law’s demands;
could my zeal no respite know,
could my tears forever flow,
all for sin could not atone;
thou must save, and thou alone.
3 Nothing in my hand I bring,
simply to the cross I cling;
naked, come to thee for dress;
helpless, look to thee for grace;
foul, I to the fountain fly;
wash me, Savior, or I die.
4 While I draw this fleeting breath,
when mine eyes shall close in death,
when I soar to worlds unknown,
see thee on thy judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
let me hide myself in thee.

MEMORISE: When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7
READ: 1 Kings 3:3-14 (KJV)
3 And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.
4 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
5 In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.
6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
7 And now, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
8 And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?
10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.
14 And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 26-27
Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
Anytime you please God, He will do something really amazing for you. In 2 Chronicles 1:6-15, Solomon pleased God. He wasn’t pleasing men or trying to get their approval; he wanted to please the God of wonders.
Today, people are still talking about Solomon because of the great things that God did in his life. God prospered him physically – throughout his life, there was no war because God silenced all his enemies (1 Kings 5:4). God also prospered him mentally and materially – his wisdom and riches were so great that God said that no other king will ever be like him. If you read 1 Kings 3:15-28, you will see an example of how God blessed Solomon.
When you please God in your sowing, He will give you multiple wonders so that long after you are gone, your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will still be reaping from the harvest. I pray that God will open the eyes of your understanding to know that harvest is a wonder; all you need to do is sow in such a manner that pleases God and leave the rest to Him. Very soon, the world will come to you and ask why you are so successful.
When a person’s ways please the Lord, He summons forces on earth, in heaven, and underneath the earth to come to that fellow’s aid. As we read in today’s memory verse, even those who do not like the fellow will have no choice but to bless him or her.
When your ways please God, and He blesses you, nobody can hinder your blessings. No human being, demon, witch, or wizard can oppose you when you please God. Abraham was too blessed to be cursed or hindered by any evil power. Beloved, please God in all your ways, and His blessing will rest upon you and your household, in Jesus’ name.
Action Point
Use the word of God as a standard to check if your ways are pleasing Him.
