22 Seest
thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was
fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for
righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that
by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not
Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and

required to get it?

“But his delight is in the law of the
Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a
tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Psalm 1:2-3
According
to the text above, the condition for complete success is living by the book of
law – the word of God. This is why God asked Joshua to get acquainted with it
(Joshua 1:8). Today, it is painful that many ‘children of God’ have abused
grace so much that the law of God does not matter to them anymore. This is a
deception of the devil.

To
succeed, you must be wise because foolishness leads to failure (Proverb 14:24).
If you would be wise, you must be Bible-compliant (2nd Timothy 3:16).
There is no negotiation; God’s word is the surest way to all-round success.
James 1:25 says “But whoso looketh into
the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful
hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”

It
was through the word of God in Malachi 3:10 that I discovered why my salary was
not enough for me – I was not paying my tithe. It was the word of God that
taught me to take care of my flock as a Pastor. For many years as the General
Overseer I had to stay at the Headquarters, building the source before
launching into other parts of the world. Even now, the word of God teaches me
that it not over until it is over. The secrets of all-round success are
inexhaustible in the word of God.
Beloved,
read, study, mediate, hear and live by the word of God and from now, you will
begin to experience all-round success.
Action Point
Make the Bible your surest
guide and final judge in all of life’s matter.

It is a wonderful teaching which we all needed to apply to our life as a child of God. I pray that God will continue to use our daddy in the Lord to bless us more and more and more of God in his life IJN Amen
ReplyDeleteThe word of God is our guide,it is God himself speaking to us,if only we will be obedient and obey his word,we will eat the good of the Land,in Palsm 1,1-2 says it all,therefore as children of God,may we not just be hearers only but doers as well.
