MEMORISE: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psalm 1:1
READ: Numbers 16:1-3 (KJV)
1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord?
READ: Numbers 28-35(KJV)
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me.
30 But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
35 And there came out a fire from the Lord, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
The aroma of food from a kitchen can cling to you such that people will know that you have been to the kitchen. Likewise, when you go to a place where demons operate, they can cling to you. This is why Proverbs 21:16 says that the man who wanders from the way of understanding will remain in the congregation of the dead. Beloved, you should not unwind in nightclubs where devil-inspired music is played, and all sorts of evil things are happening. You would be opening up your heart for demons to come in.
A young fellow once went somewhere he shouldn’t have gone to and came back loaded with demons. He couldn’t sit or stand; he could only lie down like a vegetable. He was brought to the RCCG Headquarters, and when I saw him, I was led by the Holy Spirit to say to him, “l want to pray with you. Kneel.” He said, “I can’t kneel.” I then said, “I command you to kneel.” He replied, “In whose name?” I responded, “In the name of Jesus.” He then said, “That’s different” as he knelt down. I prayed for him, cast the demons out of him, and said, “Get up.” He said, “I can’t stand up.” I replied, “I command you to stand up.” He then said, “In whose name?” I responded, “In the name of Jesus.” He again said, “That’s different” and got up. I then told him, “You can go home, have your bath, and go to work.” He replied, “I can’t walk.” I said, “I command you.” He replied, “In whose name? I responded, “In the name of Jesus.” He walked home by himself and was free from that day on.
Many people are demon-possessed today because they went to the wrong places and associated with the wrong people. When you walk with godly people and constantly engage in godly activities, you are inviting God’s presence to abide with you; when you do the opposite, you are inviting the devil and his demons to fellowship with you. The devil is not a gentleman; he will not leave because you are tired of him or think that his time is up. Wherever he enters, he has a threefold mission; to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
Child of God, if you don’t want to be in any form of bondage, flee every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Don’t entertain the devil in any way (Ephesians 4:27) so you can maintain your liberty in Christ.
Key Point
Check your association; avoid places and people that can lead you into bondage.
HYMN 28: Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah
1 Guide me, O my great Redeemer,
pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but you are mighty;
hold me with your powerful hand.
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven,
feed me now and evermore,
feed me now and evermore.
2 Open now the crystal fountain,
where the healing waters flow.
Let the fire and cloudy pillar
lead me all my journey through.
Strong Deliverer, strong Deliverer,
ever be my strength and shield,
ever be my strength and shield.
3 When I tread the verge of Jordan,
bid my anxious fears subside.
Death of death, and hell’s Destruction,
land me safe on Canaan’s side.
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever sing to you,
I will ever sing to you.

MEMORISE: And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Luke 1:45
READ: Matthew 9:20-22(KJV)
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
A major characteristic of mountain-moving faith is that it also moves the believer. In other words, when you have faith, you’ll begin to make moves in line with your faith.
David had faith in God that he would kill Goliath, therefore, he boldly went to meet the king for permission to fight the giant.
When Goliath charged at him, David didn’t back down; he ran towards the giant and eventually had Goliath’s head in his hand (1 Samuel 17:51-54).
If you truly believe, you’ll start moving towards the outcome you want.
Years ago, I was down with malaria on a day we were to have a Bible study in church, so l stayed back at home.
I lay in bed and decided to listen to a sermon. The sermon was about faith, and as if the preacher could see me, he said, “What are you doing on the bed if you know that Jesus’ stripes have already healed you? Get up!” That stirred my faith, so I got up and decided to go to church.
My entire body ached, but somehow, I made it to church and sat at the back. During the praise and worship session, l ignored the pains in my body and danced.
After a while, I felt the urge to urinate, and by the time I left the toilet, the sickness had vanished.
My Father in the Lord once conducted a revival in our church in Ilorin, a state in Southern Nigeria, and God moved him to say, “If there’s anyone here trusting God for the fruit of the womb, go and buy the appropriate clothes for the gender of the baby you want.”
A woman heard this, and when she got home, she bought a cot and clothes for a baby boy, which she displayed for everybody to see.
Her neighbours laughed at her, saying that she had gone mad out of her desperation to have a child.
She ignored them, held on to the word of the man of God, and nine months later, when the baby boy arrived, it was her turn to laugh.
Beloved, start making your own move of faith now. Whatever you are trusting God for, make moves towards it as if you have gotten it already, just like the woman I mentioned in the paragraph above.
I declare that the Almighty God will give you a miracle that will surprise everyone around you, in Jesus’ name. However, you have to take a step of faith.
Action Point
Make a move towards what you are believing God for.
HYMN 16: 'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus
1 ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord.”
CHORUS
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!
2 O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me
‘Neath the healing, cleansing flood!
3 Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.
4 I’m so glad Learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Saviour, Friend,
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

MEMORISE: And Jesus answering saith unto them, have faith in God. Mark 11:22
READ: Matthew 21:21-22 (KJV)
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Leviticus 26-27
Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
I believe that the most potent force in the world is a Christian’s faith. There is no mountain that your faith cannot move.
In Mark 9:23, Jesus Christ said: … If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
When Jesus says ‘All things’, He really means ALL things. This is why, whenever you need something from God, you must not allow any form of doubt to creep into your heart.
James 1:6-7 says that if you doubt, you shouldn’t expect to get anything. When someone told Jairus that his daughter had died, the Bible says, As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. Mark 5:36
In the Scripture above, Jesus wanted to ensure that Jairus’ faith was intact, and because he remained in faith, before that day ended, his daughter, who had died, came back to life.
In Matthew 15:21-28, a woman came to Jesus, crying for help. Jesus ignored her and acted as if He couldn’t hear her at all.
However, at the end of the day, He turned to her and said,
“Woman, great is thy faith.”
In other words, He was saying that even if He had not wanted to grant her request, He would grant it because of her great faith.
If you can only have faith, all things are possible to you. When you read through the Bible to study those whom Jesus healed of their sicknesses and diseases, you will notice He often makes this statement – “Thy faith has made thee whole.”
In essence, what made them whole was their faith in the fact that Jesus had the power to heal them. Those who didn’t have faith didn’t get many miracles (Matthew 13:58).
Beloved, when you come to Jesus for something. I want you to have it at the top of your mind that the One whom you have approached is the creator of the entire universe.
He can snap His fingers, and the whole world will disappear. He once brought water out of a rock. There is absolutely nothing that He cannot do.
What you consider as a very big problem is too insignificant to be a problem to Him; just rest in the fact that you have brought the matter to the Almighty God who can do all things (Jeremiah 32:27), end start rejoicing.
Key Point
If you can just believe, you will experience great miracles.
HYMN 21: My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less
1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Refrain:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
2. When darkness seems to veils His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil. [Refrain]
3. His oath, His covenant, and blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay. [Refrain]
4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne. [Refrain]

MEMORISE: Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Job 8:7
READ: Matthew 17:15-16 (KJV)
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
READ: Acts 5:12-16 (KJV)
12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
Every great minister of God must have had their days of little beginnings, and their greatness today testifies of their faithfulness over time.
If you get discouraged during your days of little beginnings, you will deny yourself the opportunity to experience the great moves of God.
In 1980, while travelling throughout Nigeria, supervising our church programmes, and making sure that everything was in order, I had an unforgettable experience.
I was preaching in a town called Warri when suddenly, I saw an open vision. In the vision, I saw that a young boy, who was born blind, received his sight.
As I wasn’t as mature as I am now, didn’t wait for God to give me the details of the vision before I said, “There is a young boy here who is blind, God wants to open your eyes.
Come quickly!” Nobody moved. I continued, “I know what I saw. Maybe it’s your son, and he’s at home.
Go and bring him quickly; I will wait.” Still, nobody moved. I knew that my God doesn’t lie, so I said, “Okay, I will wait for one hour after the service.
Maybe you don’t want to miss what’s going on now. After the service, go and bring the boy.” I waited after the service, but no one brought any boy to me.
Sadly, after the time elapsed, I left for Akure, which was my next stop. Because I waited an extra hour for the blind boy, I got there late, and someone else was already preaching when l arrived.
Suddenly, while the sermon was going on, an elderly man got up. He had a young boy with him, and they began to move towards the altar.
The boy was blind, and as I looked closely, I saw that it was the boy in my vision.
The father wanted prayers for his son, but I knew that the protocol officers were going to turn him back, saying, “You can’t go to the altar while the preacher is preaching.”
I ran towards the officers to say, “Please don’t turn them back. I saw this boy in a vision; he is about to receive a miracle.”
However, before I got to them, the boy heard my footsteps, turned towards me, and his eyes opened.
Beloved, God proved Himself mighty in my days of little beginnings, and He has remained faithful up to now.
He will prove Himself mighty too in whatever phase you are currently in your life, in Jesus’ name.
Key Point
Remain faithful in your days of little beginnings, and in due time, you will see God’s mighty hand at work in your life.

MEMORISE: Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger. Proverbs 19:15
READ: Proverbs 24:30-34 (KJV)
30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.
32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.

Open Heaven For Today 2025 MESSAGE
Some people think that they can become successful without working hard. I was at a students’ programme, and I became alarmed when some students were said to have spent all their time praying and fasting instead of spending time to study and prepare for their exams. When I inquired further, they said that they believe that the Holy Spirit would help them. They cited my experience about the Holy Spirit teaching me how to solve a complex mathematical problem from the Bible. I told them that I had already studied, laboured, and battled with 186 simultaneous equations for 18 months before the solution was revealed to me through a Scripture in the Bible.
The work of the Holy Spirit is to remind us of what we have learned. Therefore, you should start every endeavour by putting in the required effort. If you fail to prepare and work hard, you will fail, and the Holy Ghost will console you. In God, there is no room for laziness.
Hard work and diligence are vital to getting to the top. While we must pray, fast, and study the word, we cannot do away with hard work. Great men work hard; that is why they turn out great.
Beloved, staying at the top is more difficult than getting there. It takes greater effort to remain a champion than to become one. A philosopher once said, “The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.”
Proverbs 22:29 says that diligent men stand before kings. If you are not diligent, you will not get anywhere. You cannot afford to fold your arms and expect God to work for you. Paul said that he planted, Apollos watered, and God gave the increase. If they did not plant or water, they would not have received any increase from God (1 Corinthians 3:6). If Paul, the great apostle laboured fervently and diligently, then you have no excuse to be lazy.
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. – John 9:4
The Scripture above are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. If our Lord worked and diligently did the will of the Father, every believer must follow suit. Just like Him, we must also do the works of Him that has sent us, and to do them successfully, we must steer clear of idleness and laziness.
Reflection
Are you diligent in everything that you do?
HYMN 4: To The Work! To The Work! We Are Servants Of God
1 To the work! to the work! we are servants of God,
Let us follow the path that our Master has trod;
With the might of His power our strength to renew,
Let us do by His grace what He calls us to do.
Work for Him by His grace;
Work thru Him for His praise;
Work with Him all the days;
And work in Him in many ways.
2 To the work! to the work! let the hungry be fed;
To the fountain of life let the thirsty be led;
In the cross and its vict’ry our glory shall be,
While we herald the tidings, “Salvation is free!”
3 To the work! to the work! in the strength of the Lord,
By the pow’r of His Name, with the light of His Word,
All the slaves of the darkness of Satan set free
And His riches of grace in His glory we’ll see.
